Air Tran:

Small, domesticated cats, dogs and birds that will fit in an approved carrier under the seat are accepted for travel. Airfare for a pet is $69 one-way and is non-refundable. The pet carrier counts as either a passenger's one (1) carry-on bag or personal item.
Six (6) pets are allowed per flight with a limit of one (1) pet per paying customer traveling on the same flight. There is no fee for service animals used by passengers with disabilities.

An in-cabin pet may be carried in lieu of a carry-on bag and is subject to a $125.00 service charge each way ($250.00 for round trip travel). Continental allows domesticated cats, dogs, pet rabbits and household birds to be carried in the aircraft cabin on most U.S. flights within the U.S. Need to call Continental for fees to ship pets in cargo.
In-cabin pet kennels may be available at Continental ticket counters for $55.00. The dimensions are 17" L x 12.5" W x 8" H (43 cm L x 32 cm W x 20 cm H). Need to call Continental for fees to ship pets in cargo.

$125 for pet to travel as carry-on. Two pets of the same type may be allowed in one kennel, for example two dogs or two cats. They must be small enough to fit in one kennel provided they are compatible and must be of the same species, size and each weigh less than 20 pounds; and they must meet the requirements of acceptance. They will be charged as one pet. $200 for pet to travel as cargo. Additional fees and charges may apply. Terminal handling charges, customs clearance fees, veterinarian service, and/or kennel storage fees are in addition to shipping rates and will be charged to the shipper or pet owner upon arrival at destination airport. All fees and charges must be paid in full prior to the release of animal.

There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $100 each way. The combined weight of the pet and carrier may not exceed 20 pounds. A pet will count as your one personal carry-on item Only one pet is allowed per passenger. To book your pet, call 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583). Pets cannot be booked online. All animals must be in a carrier smaller than 17 x 12.5 x 8 in, placed under the seat in front. No animals can be carried on flights to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico or the Bahamas.

The fee for a pet traveling onboard the aircraft is $75 each way, regardless of any connections.

Spirit Airlines accepts small pets (domestic dogs, cats and small household birds ONLY) for transportation in the passenger cabin for a service fee of $100 per container, each way. Pet fees must be paid at the time the reservation is made in order to reserve the needed transportation space in our inventory. These fees are not refundable. Spirit Airlines does not transport pets in Cargo at any time Spirit Airlines welcome service animals trained to assist customers with mobility, visual and hearing disabilities, in the aircraft cabin for no charge.

Guests with pets cannot be seated in the Main Cabin Select seats (either exit row or row 3) or the First Class cabin We add a $100.00 fee per segment to the price of your reservation for the transportation of each pet.
